The function of an Elder is a ministry to which a person is called and can be best described as follows:
- Visitation of the members and church attenders
- Leading worship services
- Preaching
- Spitirual mentorship
- Church Administration
An elder is a member of the Church Board and attends on a regular basis in order to provide input and counsel regarding church issues.
The board of elders meets together with the pastor once per month for visioning, administration, prayers and counsel.
